Transfer from Mukhuri to Natipuru hut

The Tobavarchkhili lakes trek starts in the center of Mukhuri village, just after the bridge, on the right. The first part of the hike is about 26 kilometers, it connects the village, which is located 300 meters, at about 2063 meters above sea level, a few kilometers above the Natipuru hut.

This stage, which will require at least a day of walk, is difficult and not very interesting. The beginning is relatively flat, you go into the Lugela valley following the Khobis Tskhali river with a few waterfalls and caves. But after about ten kilometers the path becomes uneven and very steep.

Since 2020, we have been offering to hikers a transfer from our guesthouse to Natipuru hut. We have invested in a jeep that is perfectly suit to the trail. Our jeep is well-maintained and has good tires. You can trust Gio, he is a local, he knows well the area and he is a very good driver.

The track is new but but due to lack of maintenance it is bad. If you decide to go to Natipuru on your own, we advise you to go with a good off-road vehicle, every summer we see broken down SUVs abandoned on the track!

Our jeep has 6 passenger places, so you can share the cost with other hikers if you wish. We prefer start early in the day and avoid driving at night for safety reasons. The cost of the trip from Mukhuri to Natipuru is 350 GEL. We can also drive you to Skuri.
